Home health care is to allow patients and their families to maintain dignity and independence. According to the National Association for Home Care, there are more than 7 million people in the United States who need home health care nurse due to acute illness, health problems long-term, permanent disability or terminal illness.
Nurses practice in a number of places: setting Hospital, nursing homes, assisted living centers, and health care at home. Nursing home health care is a growing phenomenon as more patients and their families the desire to receive care in their homes. The history of health care in the House came from the health care community where community health nurses do home visits to promote health education and providing treatment as part of its community outreach programs.
